Metabolic Optimization

Identifying the variables that are causing elevated glucose, hypoglycemic episodes,
inflammation and metabolic dysfunction.

It's important that we take steps toward identifying the root cause of what is keeping you from total optimization. From glucose, sleep and stress, we will do a deep dive into your current state.

Is this for you?

  • are you concerned about elevated glucose levels?

  • do you struggle to find a diet or eating method that works?

  • do you ever experience extreme sugar crashes?

  • are food cravings a problem? hungry at night?

  • battling information overload and wondering where to go?

  • hormonal levels less than ideal?

  • concerned about kidney and/or liver health?

Cost: $400 for 4 weeks
We work closely on a daily basis for 4 weeks and use glucose monitoring (CGM or glucometer), food logging, energy and mood scores, and blood work analysis as needed. Creating weekly targets, we have measurable goals making managing your new ideals doable.

Step 1

Monitor fasting and post-prandial glucose. Record data and establish your personal trends.

Step 2

Measure current nutritional impact on glucose levels and modify as needed to hit targets.

Step 3

Add glucose management tools as needed. Hit glucose targets daily and dial in nutrition required to maintain optimized numbers.

HOW SHOULD YOU EAT?

My answer usually ends up with “how is your diet effecting you?”

Here are a few ways to determine if your diet works for you…
1) Blood Glucose Levels: optimal range is 75-85 fasting and shouldn’t spike much over 100
2) Post-meal Fatigue: do your meals make you tired? If so, something’s out of whack.
3) Unexplained Weight Gain: you “eat right” and workout yet you have extra weight. You shouldn’t have to kill yourself with workouts to achieve optimal body composition.
4) Inflammation and or IBS: if you constantly feel inflamed or suffer from bouts of cranky bowels, you could be eating something that’s disrupting your GI.
